Yesterday Vladdy Sobotka was injured at practice from an Alex Steen slap shot.  Sobotka left the facility in a boot and crutches.  The Post Dispatch is saying he is out for at least two weeks.  Also Matt D’Agostini left the game against the Sharks and also did not practice yesterday.  News out of that is saying it is concussion related symptoms but more tests are scheduled as well.  If both of these to remain out for thursdays game expect a call up soon, either Phil McRae or Brett Sterling.  Sterling would be my guess for the call up with NHL games under his belt this year already.  But word out of Peoria is that Phil McRae has been playing with a purpose lately looking better then Sterling.

In the news for the World Junior Championships, Blues prospects Jaden Schwartz, and Ty Rattie made the first round of cuts. As more news comes out about rosters and prospects in the tourny I will try and update
