As this season rolls along, the Blues are still on a bit of a hot streak.  Even though Detroit deflated them Monday night, handing them their first loss of the season with a 2 goal lead going into the 3rd period.  Tonight they are back in Nashville ready to take on the Predators again.  No word out of St Louis if Langs, Oshie, and Sobotka will suit up, but we do know Halak is in net and Ian Cole gets another chance to continue to impress.  The Predators however will be without their captain Shea Weber, still dealing with concussion like symptoms.

More rumblings coming out of the twitter sphere and internet alike as there has been reports that several teams are asking the Blues about Chris Stewart.  Now get this straight right now, this is purely rumor right now and not something any reporter has going right now.  The likes of Lou Korac, Jeremy Rutherford, Norm Sanders, or gasp Andy Strickland have not said anything yet to this.

Chris Stewart is a pretty obvious choice right now in the rumor mostly because of his very inconsistent play.  Stewart has definitely been a disappoint this season.  Most Avalanche fans were glad to see him go with the trade that sent teammate Kevin Shattenkirk to St Louis for Jay McClement and Erik Johnson.  As that trade stands right now the Blues still are coming on top of that trade.  Shattenkirk being the main reason.

With Stewart under performing GM Doug Armstrong has shown he will not wait, he wants to win now.  What can the Blues get for a struggling power forward that still has high upside? I’d imagine a trade exactly what happened with Colorado.  Young fast (and lazy) power forwards are hard to come by.  But the issue is selling him to the right team with the most to offer and get them off of the fact hes been an underachiever.

Alex Steen has just been ruled out of at least the next two games due to possible concussion like symptoms.  Hitch said Steen came up at practice saying he did not feel right.  Could be related to hit taken against Dallas.  Also Oshie will be in the line up tonight after missing 2 games to a wrist injury.  Langenbrunner will be back in as well after recovering from the flu.  Lastly Vladimir Sobotka will return as well after missing a few games from a ankle injury recieved in practice from an Alex Steen shot.
