Brett Maclean left Phoenix not too long ago. Now he’s back. The 22-year-old forward re-joined the Phoenix Coyotes after being claimed today. The Jets placed Maclean on waivers yesterday, in hopes of sending him down to St. John’s of the AHL.
The Coyotes originally placed Maclean on waivers on October 6th, when the Jets picked him up. MacLean was selected by Phoenix in the second round in 2007 and has spent most of the last three seasons with the team’s affiliates in San Antonio and Portland. With the Jets this year, Maclean has 2 assists in 5 games. In 18 games over 2 seasons, Maclean has totaled 2 goals and 5 points.
