Sorry guys for not doing my predictions post yesterday or even tweeting all that much the last couple of days, but something really important popped up, which I would not like to talk about at the moment. I would also like to say that I know I’ve been breaking my promises when I say that I will be posting more regularly again involving NHL topics besides my predictions post, but I PROMISE that this will change starting today. Anyways, there will only be 4 games in the NHL today.

Blackhawks(5-1-2)/Hurricanes(3-3-3): Blackhawks over Hurricanes 2-0 – The Blackhawks will play yet another strong, full 60 + minute game. Their strong game will help them leave Carolina with the victory.

Sharks(4-3-0)/Wings(5-2-0): Wings over Sharks 3-1 – After starting the season 5-0-0, the Wings have lost 2 straight. With that being said, they will come out playing one of their best games of the year against the Sharks. Jimmy Howard will play a strong game in net helping the Wings pull out for the win.

Oilers(5-2-2)/Avalanche(6-3-0): Avalanche over Oilers 4-3 – After losing their first road game of the season on Wednesday against the Flames, the Avalanche will come out ready to play. Hockey fans are considering this game “Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (2012 1st overall pick) vs. Gabriel Landeskog (2012 2nd overall pick)”. It will be a very exciting game for Avs fans and at the end of the day, they will be even happier when the Avs defeat the Oilers in a hard fought game.

Blues(5-4-0)/Flames(3-4-1): Flames over Blues 5-2 – You can argue that the Flames should be in the “top 5” of the NHL “League” standings right now, but they just haven’t been able to capitalize on their scoring chances. They will bring their 4 goal effort from their win against the Avalanche on Wednesday and will continue scoring against the Blues. Miikka Kiprusoff will have another strong game in net securing the win for the Flames.

Overall record: 53-57.
