The National Hockey League has announced that the 2012 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic will start at 3:00 P.M. ET instead of the original start time of 1:00 P.M. ET. The reason for the change is because of the weather’s forecast for tomorrow. The change should also offer optimal conditions for the players and fans during the games.

Henrik Lundqvist will start in net for the New York Rangers while Sergei Bobrovsky will start in net at the other end of the rink for the Philadelphia Flyers.

The game will be aired on NBC, CBC, and RDS.
