It has been confirmed that Chris Campoli will be out for 3-4 months after suffering a torn hamstring in Thursday night’s game against Toronto. He said he got his skate jammed in a bad patch of ice in front of his net at the ACC.
Not a great 2 first games for Campoli. First he almost gets his head taken off by Ryan Malone and now he won’t be able to play until after Christmas.
Habs signed Free Agent Joe Callahan for, what looked like replacement duty, but that theory was shot down when they sent him down to Hamilton.
My guess; Emelin will fill in on D while Weber will continue to play forward. We’ll see tomorrow when the Habs are in Winnipeg. (Post game here!)
