The Czech Republic will head to the 2016 World Juniors looking for their first medal since 2005. A team that continuously struggles every single year, the Czech’s will be without star forwards David Pastrnak (Boston Bruins) and Jakub Vrana (Hershey Bears), who will instead be playing with their respective pro clubs. Their defense has some strong links, with the likes of Dominik Masin and Jakub Zboril patrolling the blue line, but the real question is whether or not Vitek Vanecek can regain his true form and help boost the Czech goaltending after a weak effort a year ago.
