Finland announced their roster for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi Tuesday morning, hoping to cap off an impressive past twelve months for the team. Since August alone, the Finnish national team have won two seperate legs of the Euro Hockey Tour, taking down the Swedes in both tournaments, and just recently the junior team took home the 2014 World Junior Hockey Championships after defeating, you guessed it, Sweden. Among the notable names on this year’s list are Kari Lehtonen, the flexible, athletic Dallas Stars goaltender who will made the team over the injured Pekka Rinne,  Teemu Selänne, the legendary NHL forward  will become only the second ice hockey player ever to have participated in six Olympics as well Mikko Koivu, the Minnesota Wild captain who will miss a month with an injury.
