How to pick who is reliable and who is not:

  1. Who is tweeting? If it is a well known (for a good reason) media member, it is likely reliable information.
  2. Insider in the name? Don’t give him a second look.
  3. Boasts about their rumors? Not worth your time.
  4. Always bringing constant rumors? The NHL world isn’t as active as you may think.
  5. A TON OF FOLLOWERS DOESN’T MEAN THEY ARE RELIABLE!!

Don’t forget to follow me, @StevenEllisNHL.
