Team(s) Interested: Calgary Flames- According to the Ottawa Sun, Flames GM Jay Feaster is looking to shed some salary and make some trades in the early part of the new season. Some names thrown around have been Nik Hagman, Olli Jokinen, David Moss and Matt Stajan.Hagman was actively shopped last season, as well.  Jokinen, Hagman and Moss are in the final year of their respective contracts and could all be traded this season if the Flames are not in a battle for a playoff spot. Stajan, on the other hand, has three-years left on his contract at a cap hit of $3.5 million, per season. Jokinen is currently the team’s top scorer, while Hagman is the team’s second top scorer.

Steven took a different route towards his hockey interests. Starting out as a big Habs fan, he started to gravitate towards the more obscure levels of hockey, such as the low level tournaments in Asia, strange club matches between teams most people in North America can’t pronounce, and even some 3am contests between Bulgaria and New Zealand. Aside from his love for strange hockey events, Steven occasionally acts as a mediocre ball hockey goalie following a failed attempt at making it to the NHL as a fourth line house league grinder.
